Glee Mobbing
Slightly ashamed to post this, but I’m convinced Glee is slowly taking over the World. I wonder how many times, and at how many stops they did this on the one day. If it was on a weekend the target market/demographic would have been completely different and probably more effective. It just seems to be commuters. Though Oxford Circus was a great choice of stop.  I’d give this a B...

A Gaga way to play music
This is app-solutely amazing. A Korean girl plays Lady Gaga’s Poker Face using four iPhones and a couple of apps. Though what you’d want with four iPhones I don’t know.   AP

iPhone Font
A man with too much time on his hands. Unfortunately I can’t see a use for the font. Sorry mate. Nice bit of creativity though, I’ll give you that. With studies showing you use about 15 regularly (a blind guess), what are you going to do with 540? And were they all free? AP

Leith Records Launch Party
Friday (26th Feb ‘10) saw the official launch night for Leith Records. Held on the spectacular floating arena that is the Mary of Guise, Leith’s barge, it was packed to the rafters with journalists, staff members and three great acts. A great effort by the Leith Records team - Claire, Kenny, Chris, Jim, Kirsty and Mikey (not pictured). DJ Monterey Jack got the music flowing down the...

The Naked Truth
Nice link on The Drum website this morning. In 1993 the whole creative department went on a training weekend. The idea was to re-learn The Lost Art Of The Press Ad and learn to fly fish. I thought the picture was worth sharing. Who’s Who & Where Are They Now 1. Dougal Wilson - director, Blink Productions, London 2. Pete Armstrong - creative director, Iris, Manchester 3....

Want John Terry To Captain Your Brand?
In pitch perfect timing to coincide with recent questions over John Terry’s captaincy, his publicity team’s search for brand ambassador opportunities washed up at the Dock this morning. To “KICK around any thoughts” on why this particular Dad of the Year would be ideal for your campaign, feel free to contact Riviera Entertainment.

More scary web stats
EConsultancy recently published following mind-boggling statistics on their blog – Here is a peek at the numbers: Social Media Statistics Facebook claims that 50% of active users log into the site each day. This would mean at least 175m users every 24 hours. Twitter now has 75m user accounts, but only around 15m are active users on a regular basis. LinkedIn has over 50m members...

The State Of The Internet
Focus have cobbled together a nice-looking infographic on the current state of the intertubes. Not sure if it’s just for the US, but it looks nice anyway. And in case anyone was wondering, we’d describe our blogging style as “journalistic” (ahem).

Not wanting to blow trumpets, but we’re particularly proud of the artwork for a recent anti-cocaine campaign. The creative team behind it was Chris Scott and David Grenfell. Slideshow above if you haven’t noticed.

Where the hell is Matt?
Okay, so I know this is quite old, and it’s very popular, he’s got 23 videos and over 50 million hits between them, no joke. Matt Harding is a very popular man. And how did he become famous? Well he travelled the world dancing badly. It’s not just that. He made the world feel good about itself. Not bad for a 3:42 video. He was so popular he even managed to get fans to...

Mustache Kings of the Tickle Strip Express
To pay homage to the last sprouts of Movember, here’s some upper lip bristlings from the Mustache Kings for your Friday afternoon pleasure. And to celebrate that wonder of upper lip topiary, we’ll be hosting a Movember special on the Mary de Guise barge this evening. If you’re feeling generous, you could even donate to the cause. It is payday soon after all.
